My background in photography and design, as well as my work in the print industry, higher education, and advertising and marketing, has given me an understanding of a variety of clients' needs. I always respect the author's creative control and unique voice. Working with me is a collaborative process built on trust between both parties.
I use Track Changes in MS Word docs, Suggesting Mode in Google Docs, implement CMOS and Merriam-Webster, correct errors usually missed by grammar checkers, ensure formatting consistency, and punctuate dialogue. A member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP), I abide by its Code of Practice.
